Bed bugs were once very common during World War I. The painful bugs are making a comeback, especially in hotel rooms. Even five star hotels have bed bugs. The bugs attach themselves to beds and other upholstery. The average bed bug can go up to 18 months in a hiding place without the need for blood. Bed bugs are nocturnal, meaning that they feed at night. They are most active one hour before dawn and their saliva contains an agent that numbs the skin. Therefore, you will not be able to feel the bite. It is not until the next morning that you are able to tell that you have been a prey to the bugs. The bite is very itchy, and more than likely it will turn into a rash.

Getting rid of bed bugs can be very tough but there are ways of doing so. The most common method of getting rid of bed bugs is using insecticide. There are two types of insecticide: chemical and biological. The chemical agent will quickly kill the bugs, but the price is very high. There is also toxic materials in the chemical insecticide that can be harmful to your skin even more than the bite. Biological insecticides are living organisms that will kill the bed bugs. This type of killing agent is safe and easy to use. It will not leave any toxic materials behind and it is affordable.
